Automotive Recyclers of Minnesota is an association of approximately 100 automotive recyclers in Minnesota all of whom supply used auto parts to individuals, collision repairers, insurance repairers, and other out of state recyclers. Most auto parts are warrantied and can be shipped anywhere.
The MN-CAR (Minnesota Certified Automotive Recycler) Program is designed to help ARM members improve their performance as professional recyclers, and will recognize and certify that enrolled members, passing an audit, meet specified general business, environmental, safety, licensing, and regulatory standards. MN-CAR members are required to satisfy approximately 26 MN-CAR environmental, safety, business, and regulatory standards.
Established in 1995, United Recyclers Group, LLC was created through the efforts of a group of dynamic auto recyclers. Their goal was to obtain more control over their parts data, and bring to the marketplace an inventory management system that was created by auto recyclers. Today, the vision of these auto recyclers has formed the largest progressive group of auto recyclers in North America. With over 430 partners throughout the U.S. and Canada, URG has created one of the most proactive organizations for the auto recycler.
Since 1943, the Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) is an international trade association which has represented an industry dedicated to the
efficient removal and reuse of automotive parts, and the safe disposal of inoperable motor vehicles. ARA aims to further the automotive recycling industry through various services and programs to increase public awareness of the industry’s role in conserving the future through automotive recycling and to foster awareness of the industry’s value as a high quality, low cost alternative for the automotive consumer. ARA encourages aggressive environmental management programs to assist member facilities in maintaining proper management techniques for fluid and solid waste materials generated from the disposal of motor vehicles.
The ARA Gold Seal program, available only to those ARA members who have completed CAR certification, ensures excellence in customer satisfaction through improved customer service, quality parts with accurate descriptions, reliable on-time deliveries and written product warranties.
CARS of Wisconsin is a state association for professionals in the automotive recycling industry. It is the only state association specifically designed to increase the efficiency and profitability of business in the automotive dismantling and recycling industry, while continuing to preserve and protect our environment.
Green Recycled Parts are reusable, ecofriendly products harvested in an efficient, environmentally responsible process from other motor vehicles that provide components for replacement or repair services.
The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers, Minnesota (AASP-MN) is an association of nearly 650 independently-owned collision repair, automotive service, and industry supplier businesses dedicated to improving the state’s automotive service industry and the success of its members.
